Christopher's bills itself as serving contemporary American cuisine, where personal touches and quality cuisine are the cornerstones of their restaurant. When you first enter, you'll walk through the bar, and come out the other side in a cozy dining room. The atmosphere fits any mood, whether you're feeling social, entertaining friends/family, or bringing a date. But we're not here to bring a date.  We're here to sample their crab cakes.  How did they fare?  Continue on and see for yourself!

Claddagh Pub is an Irish pub located in Canton Square, known for their Chesapeake Bay cuisine by day and dance club at night.  This place seems to have it all: neighborhood bar downstairs with a wide range of sports showing on the televisions, outside seating on both the sidewalk and an inner courtyard, and the upstairs area where DJs play and pool tables are to be found.  Claddagh's is probably more well known for being a bar than a restaurant.  And an Irish pub typically won't be foremost on your list of places to find crab cakes.  So how were they?  Read on!

Della Rose's has been Baltimore's tavern since 1944, when they first opened in East Baltimore. A lot has changed in that amount of time. Around 1961, they moved the restaurant to the Overlea section of Belair Rd, expanding their already well known menu to include sour beef and dumplings along with some seafood specialities. Then in 1998, that location then moved to where it is now, located in The Avenue in White Marsh. A second location was opened in Canton, just 2 miles from their original location, but that has since closed. No matter, as their tradition lives on in White Marsh. With this much local history, we were excited to try their crab cakes. Follow along and see what we thought!

Dogfish Head is known locally for their finely crafted beers.  But a recent venture for them is to expand their Rehoboth Beach alehouse to other locations, namely Gaithersburg, MD, in addition to Fairfax and Falls Church, VA.  Now you don't have to endure beach traffic just to sample the latest and greatest on tap from DFH.  And being some crab cake lovin' people, anyplace that serves crab cakes and guarantees delicious beer, well, we just can't say no.  So how was the visit to Montgomery County?  Let's find out!

If you don't (or you're not from the area), DuClaw is a local chain of brew pubs, priding themselves in real beers since 1996. Most people know DuClaw for their beer, but they also have food! The menu ranges between brewpub classics to culinary delights. And one of those culinary delights happens to be their Caribbean Crab Cakes. Did a Jamaican band come out of nowhere and sing us a song about eating crabs and cheering for beer, or should we send the dish down to the Bermuda Triangle? Only one way to find out. Read on!
