We realize it's been a while between the time we launched our new site design and posting new reviews. But, rest assured, we'll be posting them soon!

Welcome to the new and improved Crab Cake Review! Not only did we redesign the site, but we made it more accessible by being a responsive site! As with all transitions, there will be a few hiccups that we are currently working to iron out. If you notice anything that affects your experience, be sure to let us know via the contact form! And stay tuned for new reviews in the coming weeks!
Happy Holidays from the Crab Cake Review! It's been a great year, from participating in the Cooking Channel's Best In Chow, to hitting the #1 spot on Urbanspoon Baltimore. Thank you for being a part if it!
For the first time since we started back in 2011, we're going to take a short break from posting reviews. This will give us time to upgrade our systems as well as provide a new, mobile-friendly experience. The site will still remain online, but may experience some hiccups when we bring the new system up. In the meantime, feel free to browse our reviews, and send us some suggestions on where we should go in 2015.
Thanks again and we'll see you next year!

The CCR is trying something new with the comment system! In hopes of providing an easier commenting experience for you, and to reduce the amount of spam for us, we're implementing a new commenting system (Disqus). Things may look a little weird on pages that already have comments, and there may be double comments links as a result of the other system, but we'll figure out if we can port those over and get things all cleaned up. If you have any feedback for us, we'd love to hear about it. Send us a message via our contact form!
The Crab Cake Review was recently approached by Pyramid Productions to participate in the Baltimore filming of Best in Chow, a show where host Cris Nannarone pits three local restaurants against each other to see who has the best local food. Being shot in Baltimore, the show was naturally about crab cakes. Given that crab cakes are kind of our deal, we were more than happy to take part. Read on to hear more about our experience!
We're not sure how long it will last, but we've finally hit #1 on the Urbanspoon Baltimore Top Food Blogs list! Thank you to everyone who has supported us over the past 3 years! We look forward to many more as we navigate the world of crab cakes together!
The Crab Soup Cook-off is tomorrow at the Maryland Seafood Festival! Are you going? We are! Come enjoy some of the finest soups the area has to offer! http://www.mdseafoodfestival.com/entertainment/crab-soup-cookoff
We'd like to welcome our sister site, the Crab Soup Review, to the interwebs! If you like soups, and you think crabs in soup is a really tasty idea, then you'll love the CSR! Check in with them and see what they've been up to! www.crabsoupreview.com
The CCR turns 1 today! Happy birthday to us! We'd like to thank everyone for their continued support over the past year, and look forward to continuing to discover the world of crab cakes! Looking to have a surprise or two this coming year, so stay tuned!
Cheers!
